A technical masterpiece, of large compressed globular form, along the mouth rim and bottom borders finely decorated with gold bands cast with floral scrolls, each flower head set with a semi-precious purple or ruby tone gem, on the top of the lid surmounted by a buddhist pagoda shaped finial inlaid with coral, turquoise and lapis lazuli, around the jar body inset with various gold framed cartouches of differ shapes finely painted in Beijing enamel depicting figures in mountain setting or peonies, roses , chrysanthemums with garden rocks, all reserved against a turquoise cloisonne ground with dense scrolling flowers, close to the front cover rim cast with a six character reign mark, with a finely cast fitted gold stand.
