A silk and metal-thread embroidered velvet floor spread and cushions (Gaddi) Rajasthan, late 19th Century comprising a floor spread, a large cushion cover and two smaller cushion covers, each of magenta and green velvet decorated in gilt-metal thread and sequins with bands containing floral vines and other vegetal motifs the floor spread 192 x 143 cm.(4) Footnotes: Exhibited Miho Museum, Japan, Jewels of the Mughal Emperors and Maharajas: Treasures from the Al Thani Collection, 1 October - 11 December 2016.
