本件拍品造型特殊，爐身近似缽式造型，然直口外侈，頸部曲線內凹，二弦紋內刻雙層回紋，乃追摹上古青銅器之雷紋裝飾，造型鮮而少見。爐身兩側飾獅耳，面部鼓突，髮鬚向內翻卷。底出三象足，大象細眼，鋒牙斜出，長鼻內卷，踞地有力。通體蠟茶色，色澤自然，包漿圓潤，瑩潤亮麗。爐底開框鑄「大明宣德年製」款，結體方正。整器造型獨特，氣韻秀美，以奇取勝，但又不失法度，皆在規矩之內，可見匠心。
