Measurements: Height: 2.125" Width/Lenght: 4.625" Diameter/Depth: 4.625" Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng doucai porcelain bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow deep body, thick, large and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward flaring mouth rim, raised on a small round, with slight concave footing. The exterior decorated in doucai design color of swims duck on the pond among water plants, above thrashing waves lishui water rectangles. Doucai decoration design is outlined in under glaze blue and filled in with over glaze colored enamels except blue. Decoration in a combination of under glaze cobalt blue outlines and enamels added on top of the fired glaze, within the outlines. Colors which fit together but also contrasting or joined colors. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. Mark on base, a six blue script characters reign mark, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines, YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
