A Chinese ink on silk painting dating from the 18th century or earlier. The painting depicts a bird on a flowering branch, and includes 3 inscriptions and 4 seals. The painting is mounted on a silk backing with silk dowels. Dimensions are: 40 1/2 inches tall X 14 1/2 inches wide, 102.9 cm tall X 36.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Creasing, tears, loss, age wear. Provenance: From Palm Springs, CA estate.
