A green Chinese Duan inkstone dating from the 19th century and with a rosewood box. The ink stone features 2 phoenix, a Shou medallion, and a stylized ruyi border. Dimensions are: ink stone- 4 1/2 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide; 11.4 cm tall X 11.4 cm wide. Box- 5 1/2 inches tall X 5 1/4 inches wide; 14 cm tall X 13.3 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From a collection in Southern California, acquired from a collector in Taiwan over 40 years ago.
