A set of 4 Chinese famille rose cups; all feature a 4-character Tongzhi mark on the bottom and are of the period. 1 cup features 2 figures with a poem, reverse features a figure with a sword and a poem; another features a seated figure, a cow, 2 poems, and a figure with a broom. Another features an elaborately dressed figure, 2 poems and a robed man. The last features a robed man, 2 poems, and a soldier. Dimensions are: 2 1/8 inches tall X 3 5/8 inches wide; 5.4 cm tall X 9.2 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Good condition. Provenance: From Loma Linda University in California; donated by the estate of a former professor.
