An Imperial Chinese flambe hu vase with a 6-character Xianfeng mark on the bottom and of the period. The vase has engaged handles, a quatrefoil-shaped mouth, and a relief impression of a peach on the front and back of the body. Dimensions are: 12 inches tall X 7 inches wide; 30.5 cm X 17.8 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The vase has a few glaze chips, including 1 significant glaze chip, and 1 glaze pop. Provenance: From Mrs. Wang in Las Vegas, Nevada; a family heirloom for at least 80 years.
