A Chinese amber snuff bottle dating from the 18th to the 19th century. Dimensions are: 2 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide; 5.1 cm tall X 3.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The lid has been repaired and glued to the snuff bottle, otherwise good condition. Provenance: From the estate of Dr. F. Prussing in Long Beach, California. These items were acquired by Dr. Prussing before 1980. Most of these snuff bottles were meticulously evaluated and cataloged by Dr. Prussing in the 1970s.
