A Chinese cinnabar snuff bottle dating from the 19th century. The snuff bottle features a reclining scholar in a landscape scene. The snuff bottle comes with a cinnabar stopper and a spoon. Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 2 inches wide; 7 cm tall X 5.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Minor cracking to the neck, multiple areas of breakage and repair to both sides. Provenance: From an estate in Santa Barbara, California.
