A Chinese porcelain snuff bottle dating from the 19th century. The snuff bottle features a peacock on 1 side and a deer, crane, and pine tree on the other. The bottom has a 4-character Gu Yue Xuan mark. The snuff bottle comes with a stopper and spoon. Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 2 1/8 inches wide; 6.4 cm tall X 5.4 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Overall good condition, though the stopper has been glued on. Provenance: From Mrs. Przecha in Southern California, by descent; acquired by Mrs. Przecha's step-father, a military doctor, while stationed in Tianjin during the 1920s.
