A Chinese white jade carved ruyi head dating from the Yuan dynasty. The jade is finely carved with a Chilong among leaves with a pomegranate. Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 3 1/4 inches wide; 7 cm X 8.3 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition with a few minor nicks. Provenance: From an estate in Los Angeles, California. A celadon jade carving dating from the Yuan dynasty can be found in the collection of the Palace Museum, Beijing (fig.1). A Yuan-dynasty white jade plaque was sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong on November 29-30, 2018, lot 473. Christie's Hong Kong sold a celadon jade plaque dating from the Yuan dynasty on June 1, 2011, lot 3931.來自Kellog先生及夫人,收藏於1980年代前。
