Eines von 3 Expl. nach einem Terrakottamodell, Guss Gernot Eichler, Duisburg. Grzimek zählt zu den bedeutendsten deutschen Bildhauern des 20. Jhs.; 1946-1948 lehrte Grzimek an der Kunstschule Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, 1948-51 als Professor an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin-Charlottenburg, 1956-61 an der Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, ab 1968 in Darmstadt. H. 17,5 cm. Dark brown patinated bronze figure with love couple, 1983. Monogrammed. Cast in an edition of 3 by Gernot Eichler, Duisburg.
