拍品为乾隆朝颜色釉文房趣作，颇为罕见。器身捏塑螭龙为形，螭龙口衔灵芝，灵活矫健，与其身上幼龙对视相望，栩栩如生，一古拙一灵动，有“苍龙教子”之寓意。拍品通体施炉钧釉，以青、蓝二色为主，略微泛白，釉汁交融，万千变幻，置於案头，堪称妙品。附日本旧配桐木盒，盒盖上墨笔楷书题签“官窑群青磁戏龙笔架”，体现了当时日本藏界对此类器物的认知。墨书字体隽雅秀美，据熟悉日本收藏状况的资深人士辨析，与日本藤田美术馆旧藏部分中国文物包装盒上的墨书笔法极为相近，或为一人所书。
