The ivory field with scrolling floral vine, birds, stylised palmette with floral mihrab and hanging lantern above. In similar design border between arabesque and plain stripes. This rug has full pile, very fine wool quality and part silk. Extremely fine weave, approx; 10 x 10 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. In general this rug is in an excellent condition throughout. Very elegant piece.
