原作为清代慈禧太后所作的牡丹。此图设色清雅，浓淡相宜，线条圆润。构图具有节奏感。刺绣艺术家运用平绣中的多种针法在黄褐色的塔夫绸底料上运用灰、浅褐、红褐、朱红、黄褐、黄绿、深绿、浅绿、蓝绿、深褐等多种颜色的丝线表现此作。整体绣面构图简洁而突出重点。绣工精致细腻，丝光熠熠。用色深浅得当，层次分明，艳而不俗，华贵典雅、气度非凡。绣品由有数十年艺龄的朱玉芳所作，中国刺绣艺术大师王祖识指导。
