A red silk-ground embroidery of birds Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th century Finely stitched and depicting a male pheasant displaying before a pair of females beside flowering prunus and tree peony, a representation of a sun in couched gold thread amidst clouds to the right, a border of scrolling lotus in silk and gold thread top and partially along the bottom. image size 33cm x 92cm and framed and glazed.
