Large Chinese 18 Century Famille Rose over Celadon Charger with a design of Quail & Flowers, the base in clear glaze with 6 character Qianlong Seal Mark in underglaze blue; together with a Miniature Meiping Vase in dark yellow glaze with an underglaze Lotus design in brown, the base with 4 character Chenghua mark in brown, with a small hardwood stand and an old Chinese storage box. Diameter of Charger 10 1/8 inches (25.7 cm.). Height of porcelain meiping 3 inches (7.6 cm.). PROVENANCE: Both acquired from King Po Chai Antique Dealer, Upper Lascar Row, Hong Kong, 1965-1971; then by descent to the private collection of a California Restaurateur. Age related surface wear to enamels & celadon on charger with tiny nibbles and small flakes to mouth edge many with infill; small meiping in good condition.
