Chinese Kangxi Blue & White Porcelain Bowl with a design to the outside of cabbage, the base with a 6 character Xuande mark inside double rings all in underglaze blue; together with a finely painted Buddhist Stem Cup, the inside of the high foot with 6 character Qianlong Seal mark in a line, the outside with scrolling lotus and calligraphy. Diameter of bowl 5 1/2 inches (14 cm.). Height of stem cup 4 3/4 inches (12 cm.) X diameter at mouth 6 1/4 inches (16 cm.). PROVENANCE: The first from King Po Chai Antique Dealer, Upper Lascar Row, Hong Kong, 1965-1971; then by descent to the private collection of a California Restaurateur. The Kangxi bowl with a tiny glaze flake and wear, the stem cup in good condition.
