TWO JAPANESE LACQUER INRO MEIJI PERIOD ?? ??????????????? comprising: one five case inro decorated in hiramaki-e and takamaki-e depicting houses amongst a river and forest landscape; one four case inro, depicting a cockerel upon a barrel, the reverse with a hen and three chicks on a gold lacquer ground, the interior decorated with hiramaki-e (Dimensions: 8.5cm and 8.75cm long) (Qty: 2) (8.5cm and 8.75cm long) Footnote: Provenance: Private Scottish collection.
