Gloucestershire - Rossley and Winchcombe Abbey Royal Grant of Edward VI Vellum letters Patent being a Royal Grant from the King, dated 2nd July in the 1st year of his reign [1547], to John, Earl Warre, for an estate called Rosteley [Rossley] in the Parish of Wethingdon, Gloucestershire, of the lately dissolved monastery of Wynchecombe [Winchcombe], in Latin, with large fragment of the Great Seal of Edward VI attached, a few minor stains not affecting legibility, 12 x 31cms.
