AN ANGLO INDIAN CANED AND CARVED HARDWOOD CHEST, POSSIBLY SOUTHEAST ASIAN, 19TH CENTURY, in a pseudo Dutch Renaissance architecture style with a hinged cane paneled peaked roof top opening to a simple interior pierced with two apertures for suspension rod (now lacking), within sides of reticulated scrolling foliate details, flanked by architectural carved facades within globular finial topped spires, over a molded plinth and raised on conforming feet.
