A LARGE INDIAN BRONZE MOUNTED AND CARVED HARDWOOD STORAGE CHEST, 19TH CENTURY, the rectangular hinged lid opening to an interior fitted with a lidded storage compartment, within conforming sides mounted with reticulated floral vinery bronze corner guards centering a frontal bronze ruyi shaped escutcheon with nicely engraved details, flanked by heavy bronze side bale handles with backplates, above a base molding with waved skirt centering a lotus bloom carved in relief and concealing large wood wheels.
