A VIETNAMESE/ANNAMESE BLUE GLAZED DOUBLE GOURD PORCELAIN EWER, SHIPWRECK ARTIFACT, 15TH/16TH CENTURY, the stemmed dome lid on a bulbous top centering an unglazed ogive panel of a carved and molded palmette, above a short waisted neck flaring to an ovoid body with an unglazed ogive reserve enclosing a reticulated parrot clutching a stylized lotus bloom within a mandala form leafy stem, flanked by a curved spout with a tapering ridge before a simple mouth, opposite a split curl topped handle, over a short flaring base enclosing an unglazed underside with brown swirl mark.
