A NORTH ITALIAN MARQUETRY INLAID EBONIZED VITRINE CABINET, 1870-1900, in the Renaissance taste, the breakfront stepped molded crown with dentil inlay, over a wide flat string inlaid frieze centering a 15th century style portrait of a young man within club bearing and griffin rinceaux, the two glazed doors with multi beast foliate scroll inlay, flanked by upper glazed side panels above lower interlocking geometric string inlaid panels, flanked by string and fluted Corinthian order columns, over a stepped conforming plinth, raised on cavetto molded feet.
