A LARGE REGENCY MAHOGANY SECRETARY BOOKCASE CABINET, EARLY 19TH CENTURY, the rectangular breakfront moulded cornice above conforming paired glazed doors with geometric mullions, flanked by matching doors and each opening to an adjustable shelf interior, raised on a cabinet base centering paired breakfront doors with corner paterae and raised line molded borders mounted with circular spool and button gilt brass handles, opening to an interior with two central faux long drawers with repoussé Greek key and lion gilt brass spool handles concealing a fall front secretary with later gilt tooled green leather writing surface before arched pigeon holes, within small short and long drawers and lower right drawer fitted for writing accoutrements, as well as side vertical open compartments with adjustable dividers, closed central doors are flanked by matching doors opening to five graduated drawers with gilt brass oval backplates and bale handles, raised on a conforming base.
