Zhang Ding (May 19, 1917 - February 21, 2010) courtesy name Ta Shan is from Liaoning province, is a famous Chinese contemporary painter, cartoonist, muralist, calligrapher, arts and crafts, art professor, art theorists. He served as China’s Federation of Literature member of the Chinese Artists Association executive director, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese Mural Artists Association, vice chairman of the Chinese Arts and Crafts Association, Dean of Central Academy of Arts and Design.
