An American sterling silver dish set with a 1959 silver half dollar coin, engraved as a presentation to Anton Von Plato and Marie Luise Von Plato, together with autographs. Anton Von Plato was a highly decorated officer in the Wehrmacht during World War II; post war, a general in the Bundeswehr. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross of Nazi Germany. 65g, 9.5cm (3.75 ins) diameter.
