Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng blue & white wrapped floral amphora vase. The porcelain potted in the amphora vase, thick, stout main belly, rim, tapering gracefully towards a straight neck, further to onion head shape, two elephant trunk pattern handles flanked from upper open lip to the shoulder rim, raised on small foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. The Exterior decorated with flowers blooms interspersed with scrolling interlocking tendril and foliage. The shoulder, the neck and the upper open lip festooned with thrashing wavy Lishui water, Chinese ornament and key fret pattern, enclosed with double fine blue rings. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine rings.
