Two overlay decorated glass snuff bottles18th/19th century
The first a flattened ivory-shaded bottle with thickly applied green overlay, and highlighted with thinner layers of pink, red, blue, white, and yellow to exhibit the 'Three Friends of Winter' theme; the second a pale blue ground double-gourd bottle, carved through layered overlays in various colors, depicting additional double-gourds, leafy trailing vines, and bats.
