One of the 30 numbered headpieces on Imperial Japan (No. 11) containing an original signed watercolour, a colour suite and a black suite.
Paris, Piazza, 1926, in-4 bound in full green morocco signed Canape et Corriez, presented in its protective case with flaps and underlay lined with the same morocco. The dishes are decorated with a central rosette incised with black edging with repeated rosettes on the upper and lower bands, triple gilded framing net, first plate titled gold at its centre, back with nerves decorated with small rosettes framed with gilded nets with a gilded button at the 4 corners.
The counterplates are in full red morocco bordered by a return of green morocco, decorated with golden spandrels. Green moire guards with rosette seedlings. Golden slices. Cover and back kept.
Edition illustrated with watercolours by Etienne Dinet and decorations by Mohamed Racim. Edition printed at 985 copies.
