关公作为古代中国家喻户晓的人物，由于其英勇忠武的生平事迹，被上至帝王将相、下至贩夫走卒广为崇奉。道教、佛教也将其列入自身的神灵信仰体系，接受信众的礼拜。此尊头戴高冠，面呈枣红色，双眉紧蹙，凤眼上挑，蓄有长髯，容貌威严。上身內着铠甲，外披龙纹罩袍。左手轻拈胡须，右手持青龙偃月刀。脚蹬武将战靴，双腿呈站立姿态。整像观之如关公再现世间，其精湛的工艺令人赞叹。更兼体量巨大，且保留有彩绘装饰，足见其工艺等级之高，实为收藏佳品。
