韦陀护法，是佛教二十四诸天之一。相传其曾发愿待千子都成佛后，自身才成佛。此尊头戴武将缨盔，面庞丰圆，容貌清秀，表情威严。上身着华丽铠甲，左手插在腰间，右手持金刚宝杵。脚蹬战靴，伫立于翻滚的浪花之上。海水中有怒龙昂头望向主尊，极富动感。整像胎体厚重，风化自然，造型写实生动，雕刻繁缛精细，带有明代内地造像鲜明的艺术特色，尤其是韦陀护法守护众生的宗教职能，堪称居家供奉的首选造像。
