此帷幔石青色缎地，以平套、平金、刻鳞、打籽等针法绣二十条彩凤驾祥云上下飞舞。顶部装饰三色四合如意云十、三色莲花九、及卷草牡丹纹一，彩云纹边框，棉布里。未见同类凤纹传世实物，以颜色判断，清代宫廷以石青为“玄”色表天，应悬挂于顶部正上方。以纹样判断，由左侧第六只凤鸟始与前五只朝向相异，使用时应由此处折叠至正后方，再以每五只凤鸟为一面共悬挂四面，牡丹纹下大凤居于正中。设色庄重，纹样突出，又以故宫真武大帝佛龛顶部龙纹帷幔为参考，推断为清代乾隆宫廷供养女性神佛，或女性供养人佛龛顶部使用的巨型帷幔。参考：故宫钦安殿玄天上帝佛龛帷幔
