翟云昇字舜堂，号文泉，掖城东南隅村（今莱州）人。少年聪颖，天资过人，童生试第一名。嘉庆五年（1800）以第五名中举选为黄县教谕。道光元年举孝廉，道光二年中进士，授粤西知县。为清中后期著名古文字学家、书法家。 说明 翟云昇（1776-1858），字舜堂，号文泉，掖城东南隅村（今莱州市莱州镇东南隅村）人。童生试时，著名诗人、莱州知府张问陶（号船山）赏之，拔其为第一。道光二年（1822）进士，清代中后期著名古文字学家、书法家。
