日本屏風兩扇 19th C. The large floor screen is composed of two separate floor screens linked in the center. The floor screen depicts two eagles, one on the branch staring down with a snake nearby, and the other on a lower branch staring up towards a bird. The scenes were created with mother of pearl, bone, wood, and other materials. The frames were low relief carved, with flowers, phoenix, and plants patterns.
