A Chinese Yixing Zisha pentagonal teapot relief carved with flowering trees on either side and the lid with an old box, dating from the Republic period. There are 2 2-character marks to the interior of the lid. Dimensions are: 4 1/2 inches tall X 6 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Several glaze skips, overall good condition. Provenance: From Mr. & Mrs. Cheng in Southern California, purchased in Hong Kong prior to the 1980s.
