A Chinese porcelain bowl with a white ground and blue and red underglaze. The outside of the bowl is decorated with a dragon and a phoenix chasing the flaming pearl. On the inside of the well there is a lotus and four cranes. There is a 6- character mark on the bottom of the bowl. Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 5 1/4 inches diameter. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Kwok Woon Kun, formerly a shareholder of Wing On Company, a well-known department store group in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This collection was collected in Hong Kong prior to Mr. Kwok's death in 1969. His collection was shipped to Canada in 1981 and was inherited by Mr. Kwokâs daughter and grandson. Items from the same collector were sold at our September Fine Asian Art & Antiques auctions, 2019.
