Of hexagonal section and raised on six bracket feet, the domed cover pierced and enamelled with roundels of ho-o birds on dense gilt ground and topped by lobed finial, the koro with matching decoration to shoulder, the sides finely enamelled with scenes of courtly figures alternating with wisteria on a diagonal gilt brocade band, rubbed signature to base.
