题识：海翁校长、夫人赐存。晚生海燕、嘉言敬赠，三五，十一，十八。 说明 说明：1.谢海燕（1910-2001）广东揭阳人，1929年毕业于上海中华艺术大学西洋画系，留学日本。回国任上海美专教授，兼教务主任，1939年校长刘海粟去东南亚举办「筹赈画展」，谢任代理校长。1952年起任南京艺术学院教授兼美术系主任，副院长等职。2.嘉言，即谢海燕夫人张嘉言，江苏南通人，1935年毕业于上海美术专科学校西洋画系，曾任上海中学教师，杭州国立艺专、中央美院华东分院助教及南京艺术学院美术系、工艺系教授等职。
