題識：齋戒粉彩齋戒牌瓷胎，呈長方葵式造形，兩端留對穿眼。正中開光，一面楷書「齋戒」二字，另一面對應滿文。四周繪綠地粉彩纏枝蓮紋，側邊繪一周紅彩朵花紋，式樣規矩，做工精細，色彩絢爛，為清朝小尺寸粉彩佳作。清代沿襲明制實行齋戒，齋戒牌為清代皇帝及文武官員祭祀時掛於身上的警示牌，規定凡應行齋戒之人，不得無故不與齋，凡持齋不守戒規者，必受重罰，各宮托故不行齋戒，或私自飲用酒等不潔之物者，可削官去爵。為督查官行方便，諭令各官員將齋戒牌佩於心胸之間，並彼此觀瞻，以簡束身心，竭誠致敬，遂成為流行的佩掛飾品。
