The body with broad shoulder surmounted by a short neck and flared mouthrim, tapering towards the flat recessed base, applied over all save for the unglazed base with a glossy black glaze pooling in thick uneven drops around the foot, the body liberally decorated in russet splashes running down the sides with vivid metallic bluish tint, the glaze falling short of the neatly knife-pared foot revealing the buff grayish body, 9.5 inch high.
