It is a beautifulstory in that sense. When I did the drawings, and Ihave a lot drawings, and some of the paintings arecompletely different from the drawings, they weremore an illustration of the text while the paintingsdealt more with aspects of life in an indirect way.In this way, in some of thework I did on Waddah al-Yaman I tried to create asuspicious sort of element in the work, in contrast tothe figure, which is very obvious, very clearly aboutthe relationship between man and woman."- Dia Al-Azzawi
