Cast in relief with a writhing dragon amongst billowing clouds before Mount Fuji, the sides with crashing waves, rosewood mounted base and interior lining; the bowl set on a flaring foot with foliate rim, decorated with a sinuous dragon encircling the body below a tied silk cord motif at the neck, stamped mark to base.
