金刚萨埵为一切众生菩提心的本体，密宗经典中记，因其心性坚固如金刚故名，是藏传佛教密宗极为推崇的圣尊，是消业灭罪的唯一主尊。常持本尊真言，能破除烦恼，止诸恶念，生诸功德。与显宗普贤菩萨同体异名。此尊金刚萨埵发髻高束，面容慈祥，上身赤祼，发髻上垂下的发缕依贴肩臂。佩戴项圈璎珞，右手持执金刚杵，左手持金刚铃，双手交叉于胸前。下身着长裙裙结跏趺坐，薄衣贴体，衣纹自然流畅。此尊佛造像受尼泊尔风格影响明显，嵌银嵌红铜，铜质细腻，包浆圆润，是难得的佛造像精品。
