宋代影青釉六棱花口瓶 珍贵品种：A beautiful and very rare Chinese song dynasty greenish white porcelain vase. This vase has a very elegant, graceful, and flowing contour. It has an elongate body, especially the upper section, and with a proportionally octagonal mouth than such vases made thereafter. This shape is typical for song dynasty vases. The clay that forms the body is white and very fine, typical of song dynasty porcelain clays. The transparent glaze on the inner wall and the outer base is slightly milky, off white, with trace of greenish tint, typical for song dynasty transparent glazes. The light greenish-blue and opaque glaze on the outer wall is exceedingly beautiful and very rare. In Chinese porcelain history, this color exists primarily among a very small number of Five Dynasty porcelains and Song wares. According to the material and artistic style, it was made in 10/13TH Century. Height 19.5 cm, 249g.
