Description

明晚期木胎漆金阿彌陀佛及侍從一套 Comprising of a gilt lacquer wood carved amitabha seated with two hands held in front of belly, wearing loose robe falling in elegant folds, face with serene expression, all supported on lotus stand with mandorla, accompanied with two standing attendant figures. Late Ming Dynasty period. 此尊佛像為典型晚明時期江浙風格木造像。阿彌陀佛及其侍從以木雕刻，外上金漆，軀體渾厚。面龐方圓，高鼻長眉，雙目半瞇，嘴角含笑，兩大耳貼面下垂，神態柔和安詳。釋迦牟尼身披袈裟，下身著僧裙，雙手結禪定印，結全跏趺坐於蓮座之上。人物開臉柔美，風格寫實，衣紋皺褶層次分明，線條流暢，比例得當，雕工精湛，製作考究，極富神韻。成套保存，實屬不易。
