A William IV secratary bookcase in mahogany, the upper case having a molded cornice and plain frieze, over glass paned doors with shaped mullions flanked by stiles topped with star carvings, the lower case with fitted pull out writing surface, the fitted desk consisting of central prospect flanked by eight valanced pigeon holes and six fitted drawers, over three graduated dovetailed drawers with lion's head pulls, all rising on bracket feet; ht. 91.5, wd. 46.5, dp. 20.5 in. Provenance: Property from Donald A.
