Ray was a great demonstrator and an inspiration to all woodturners there. He also was very charismatic and his personality came through during his demonstrations. He had great patience and was very generous with his time and knowledge and it was a privilege to have known him.For my collaboration piece I kept Ray’s traditional shape and put my own ‘stone wall design’ on the outside.
