A 19th century Meissen blanc de chine cased mantel clock, examined and retailed by Lund & Blockley, 42 Pall Mall, LondonThe 3 1/2 inch signed white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and Arabic minute markers, the French eight day barrel movement signed Vincent & Cie, numbered 188C and 411, striking on a bell, the case worked with the figure of a reclining bacchic putto, the clock surmounted with an urn finial, blue painted crossed swords mark and incised number 1944. 35 cm wide. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally good with expected wear, some areas of restoration, some areas of losses predominantly to flowers, puttos hand/vine leaf restored, nibbles to dial.
